Last winter we headed out to the hot springs at Rio Negro. A fave location and one we often bring our visiting guests to. It's not that far a drive, being about 1.5 to 2 hours from Tamarindo.
While there, for the first time, we decided to hike up the trail on the other side of the main entrance. What a treat! A stunning walk with many waterfalls, pools to swim in and a great place to stop and have a picnic. Here's a few images from that hike. Enjoy.
